I am deeply honored to have received several prestigious awards in recognition of my contributions to social work. One of the most memorable moments was being awarded by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2018 for my unwavering commitment to community welfare and sustainable development. This recognition has inspired me to further strengthen our efforts, addressing the root causes of societal challenges and ensuring lasting support for those in need. Located in the picturesque coastal town of Kakinada, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, Life Charitable Trust was founded by Jakarayya Budathala (JB), a dedicated social worker inspired by the philanthropic legacy of his parents. From a young age, JB and his brothers cultivated a deep passion for serving the poor and underprivileged, transforming charitable activities into a way of life.

For over 15 years, Life Charitable Trust has been a beacon of hope, tirelessly working to uplift marginalized communities both in Kakinada and beyond. Despite operating from their family home due to the lack of a dedicated building, their unwavering commitment to eradicating hunger, poverty, and suffering has driven impactful initiatives, including:

Free Eye Treatment
Collaborating with expert eye specialists, the Trust organizes free eye camps to restore vision and hope for the poor and elderly.

Blood Donation Camps
Under the banner "Let’s Give Blood—Let’s Give Life," their blood donation drives have saved countless lives, providing critical support during medical emergencies.

Cloth Relief
Distributing clothes to individuals affected by fire accidents, offering comfort and dignity during difficult times.

Food Distribution
Providing essential food supplies and aid to refugees and victims of natural calamities such as floods and tsunamis.

Support for Leprosy Patients
Ensuring care and compassion by meeting the basic needs of individuals affected by leprosy.

Orphan Outreach
Offering love and dignity to roadside orphans by allowing them to select their own clothes and footwear, making them feel valued and special.

Support for the Elderly and Homeless

Providing personal care, including fresh baths, shaves, and haircuts for the elderly, widowed, and homeless.
Offering shelter, medical treatment, nourishing food, and comfortable beds to transform lives with dignity.

Aid for Widows
Supporting widows with new clothing, care, and respect, ensuring they feel valued and empowered.
